Son de Cuba (Bulevar San Ramón 277, Lima) – this spacious venue is both a Cuban restaurant and bar that offers live music in the form of Cuban salsa and Dominican Merengue bands. Great place for mojitos, margaritas and other tropical drinks.
Posada del Angel (Av. Pedro de Osma 164, Barranco, Lima) – this bohemian bar’s décor is rather impressive and artsy (including antiques and artwork – even statue of angels). Live music sometimes provided, reflecting the intellectual 30-something crowd. Food is also served there.
