Museo de Arte de Lima / MALI (Parque Colón 125, Parque de la Exposición, Lima) – this museum’s collection consists of pre-Columbian textiles and ceramics (from the Cupisnique, Chavín, Mochica, Recuay, Lambayeque and Chimú cultures in the country’s northern regions; and the Paracas, Nazca, Huari, Cjancay and Chincha cultures in the country’s south), pictures and furniture from Peru’s Spanish colonial and Republican times (1821-1937), as well as a significant selection of paintings and photographic works from modern times. Admission: S/. 12 (adult – suggested; S. 6 minimum), S/. 4 (seniors / students / children under 12 years). Sundays only S/. 1 for all visitors. Hours: 10 am – 8 pm (Tuesday – Sunday) (Saturdays until 5 pm). Closed on Mondays.
