Malecón (Lima) – like other Latin countries, such as Cuba and the Dominican Republic, Lima has its own seaside Malecón boulevard. The difference between the Malecón in Lima versus elsewhere is that this six-mile-long boulevard has three sections: Malecón de la Marina in the north, Malecón Cisneros in the middle, and Malecón de la Reserva in the south. The Malecón is perfect for jogging, biking or simply taking in the view. Statues by local artists can be found here as well. In addition, sections of the Malecón are popular taking-off points for parasailing.
