Bus – Local minibuses (known locally as combis or micros) are found throughout Lima and tend to be cheap (fares from less than €.50). Final destinations (last stop) are usually shown on the bus’ front windscreen, and you can flag them down or get off anywhere.
The most useful routes link central Lima with Miraflores along Arequipa: buses show a final destination of ‘Todo Arequipa’ and ‘Larco/Schell/Miraflores’ when heading to Miraflores, or ‘Todo Arequipa’ and ‘Wilson/Tacna’ when going from Miraflores towards central Lima.
